Ayala Style Origins 2015

It’s our second year to get invited to join Ayala Mall’s Style Origin fashion show. Tim and I aren’t fashion guru’s nor fashion experts but its really fun and exciting to join such kinds of events. Last year I was actually invited to walk on the runway and I represented the brand SOLO and boy it was such an exhilarating feeling. Behind the scenes of a fashion show is very chaotic, models running around and getting changed, directors giving instructions to everyone and me with the rest of the other bloggers just couldn’t wait to walk down the runway lol!

This year we were invited to join Style Origins Mensweek fashion at Trinoma Activity Center. Since its launch, Style Origin proudly presents local and global fashion brands as well as showcasing the craftsmanship and passion of those emerging and talented local designers.

Last June 6, we were able to witness some really unusual mens fashion wear and surely something that Tim wouldn’t want to wear but what do we know about fashion lol! We will stick to the basics and enjoy what these fashion designers can offer. Some who we believe are big names in the fashion industry like Sassa Jimenez, Herbert Custodio, James Reyes and M Barretto showcased their talents through menswear and accessories. Some designs were odd but it could actually work such as the creation of Sassa Jimenez, who gave an arm cast look very fashionable. They have certainly put their heart and soul to come up with sophisticated and masculine designs

The second part of the show was a more familiar scene for Tim and I as models walked the runway in local and global brands like Sketchers, Lacoste, Mango, Marks and Spencer, Sanuk and a lot more amazing brands.

After this event, we still weren’t fashion guru’s lol!! but we surely enjoyed the experience of taking pictures of all the models strutting the runway. Oh and yes the event served up some delicious meals served up by Racks and that got me thinking, I guess Tim and I should just stick to food fashion haha! Hopefully by the next Style Origin event we can join the fashion bandwagon!
